I walk by your room every day
The door is open
I see the bed where you used to lay
Now you’re broken

You were your own person
Always rehearsing
For a part that you would never get

You left us here to feel the pain.

You left in the night, no one knows why
The question we struggle to answer
Where did you go, were you being sly
Questions and answers, answers and questions

Across the street I saw the mangled wreckage
Across the street I hoped you weren’t that reckless
Somehow we knew, it was all askew.
You left us falling through

I walk by your room every day.
The door is closed.
